A grounded approach for adults and couples navigating full lives.
Thoughtful, depth-oriented therapy designed for real growth and lasting change.
ABOUT ME
Over the past 25 years as a licensed therapist, my practice has been motivated by a strong conviction that people can overcome suffering and experience more fulfilling and authentic lives. I find the most meaningful part of my work is helping people to discover their unique strengths, feel more understood, accepted and connected to others.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, in complicated relationship patterns, struggling with self-medicating or addictive behaviors, or seeking deeper self-understanding, therapy can offer a powerful path forward.
MY APPROACH
My practice is collaborative, personalized and insight-oriented, grounded in respect for each person’s unique story and circumstances. Together, we explore not only what is happening in your life, but also underlying learned behaviors and how to move forward with greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, self-acceptance, accountability, mindful communication and purpose.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally discontent, engaging in unhealthy coping patterns and avoidant behaviors, while others seek greater clarity, insight and self-understanding. We work together to increase insight, recognize defense mechanisms, negative relationship patterns and family of origin influences that may be contributing to varying levels of distress.
I provide personalized, trauma-informed therapy that goes beyond symptom management to explore the deeper issues shaping your emotional life, relationships, and sense of self. Drawn from professional and personal experience, I strive to help clients create healthier behaviors, identify and establish boundaries when needed, and build effective coping strategies. Together, we work towards clarifying your personal and relationship goals and a more connected, purposeful, and authentic life.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE
Within my scope of practice, I offer specialized support for men seeking deeper understanding of intimacy, emotional awareness, improving communication and relationships. Our work explores patterns that may interfere with closeness, vulnerability, accountability and meaningful connections including self-protective behaviors that can impact personal and relational well-being.
We may also address challenges related to professional and career pressures and transitions, aging concerns, athletic performance, addiction or self-medicating tendencies and stage of life issues. Through thoughtful self-exploration and increased self-awareness, I strive to support my clients in developing greater emotional resilience, healthier relationships and authenticity.
